Boy did I score big! Around Christmas 2014, I ended up in Jon and Gail's campsite, near Rancho San Cosme. I knew suckers when I saw them.

I had survived by knowing who I could steal food from. Seagulls were easy to chase off.

Their neighbors, Gary and Teri, had fresh fish, just for me.

Vultures were not quite so easy, but I was not easily intimidated.

Looks like fun. Can I try?

Sure glad Jon keeps fresh water around for me.

What's the big deal? Doesn't even smell real.

I know the best places to nap and watch the world go by.

Grasshoppers are so fun to play with, but they are a bit too crunchy for my taste.

They thought she was so sweet, but they didn't see all the indignity I went through with that cute little vet. Still furious.

I like to help Jon drive, but sometimes I'm just too sleepy

I can't go out after dark, but that doesn't stop me from looking.

Don't those goofy ducks know these are my steps??

I never pass up lap time.

Mom's foot makes a great swing.

Nobody has ever accused me of being a traditional cat.

What do you mean....you want to hang my beautiful cushion on the front door?

Morning came too soon.

Staking out my territory and looking for trespassers.

All I was looking for was a free meal on a warm beach. Now look where I ended up!!

They tried to put me on one of those things called, A LEASH. They were not successful!

Who will be faster...the cat or the hare?

I don't know what this silver thing is, but it's warm.

Happy hour, but no fish? I'm leaving.

Like to watch the sunrise with my good friend, Franklin and his people.

Naptime, anyone?

In the canyon lands, I'm always watchful for that wily coyote.

Sometimes I have to supervise Papa's driving.

And sometimes I have to supervise his painting.

Evenings are my wild times.

Maybe they won't notice I'm not a zucchini.

Didn't take me long to stake my claim, 'cuz I'm so cute!

Tried to stay awake to help mom do her bookkeeping, but sleep got the best of me. After all...I am a cat!

I hate family portraits! The things I put up with for a free meal.

Estate oversight is very challenging work.

I like to keep mom company in the morning, even when she does those strange gyrations. I like to stretch, too.

Papa found me napping under his kayak....

...and the next thing I knew, I was heading out to sea.

The fun part is watching the fish go by, but it would be more fun is they jumped in here with me.

I'm with Papa in the love of the early morning light.

I love living on the edge.

How do you like my camo look in this red rock country of southern Utah?

Juniper trees are just the right size for climbing all the way to the top for the best view.

Taking a stroll to check out the hood.

If I only liked to swim, this tree would be a great diving board.

Captivated by a butterly.

Why should I go out into the snow when I have a nice sunny spot by the window inside?

That mean old owl can't catch me here.

Nothing better than a day in the park with Papa.

What is this metal thing. Oh yeah, I live with Cranes.

I am a cat. I'm supposed to like high places.

More life on the edge.

I'm sure there are there are little critters around here somewhere.

Who is this intruder in my yard. She seems friendly....but, it is my yard.

This white rock is the ideal spot to check out my front yard.

It is snowing again. Way past time to head south, to my beach.

My front walkway. My domain.

Mom, are you sure you can't take a break, and feed me.

When visiting the city, they won't let me roam, But there is the roof.

What do they expect, when they leave a cabinet open.

And she thought she could take a nap without ME!

I'm sure this palapa was made with me in mind.

I know there must be fish down there somewhere.

And then, our neighbor, "Diver John", shows up with Cabrilla. I'll take mine raw.

On this other beach, they even come around to sell fish. Life here in Baja, is good.

They think it is now happy Hour, but I really think it is time for dinner.

Gotta sniff out each new neighborhood.

This is Margarita. GuitarSteve belongs to her. She usually stays on her end of the beach, but when she comes to visit, I chase her off.

Guitar Steve likes me, and comes to play music to me.

Who, me?

I am an appreciator of sunsets. Sunset here, means dinnertime is near.

For some reason Papa and GG want me inside after dark. I usually cooperate, but sometimes I need to be persuaded.

Red rocks everywhere I look.

There sure has to be mice out here somewhere.

Sure glad that I have this warm, cozy camper. This sure isn't Baja.

Doesn't that Hooded Oriole know that is a hummingbird feeder.

Boy was papa surprised when he turned around on his morning hike and saw me.

I just love it when they light a fire, just for me.

Another new place to explore.

Another great view.

A great view here along the Snake River, but I don't care for it when that noisy train comes along.

Wait up for me. I need to stretch my legs too.

Just checking to see if Papa is doing it right.

I love being back in Baja with my friend Judy.

Reading time

They bought me this fancy "cat thing" for me to climb on real inside, and sleep on, but I really prefer the box it came in.

We do camp by a goat ranch!

Cant you see I'm sleeping?

I do have my own veranda.

This is the only place on the countertops that I am allowed, but when I think they aren't looking..........

Ironwood trees make the best scratching posts.

I love doing my morning exercises with GG.

I know that we camp on a ranch, but this is crazy!

I love our Baja neighbors, Daggie, and John.

Sure a great spot here, but I have to stay close because it is almost time for dinner.

Looks like a bed to me.

The great thing about traveling Is, I have a new playground every day.

Our Baja camp has the best trees in the whole world.

Tika is my good friend, but she always wants to play, even when I'm taking a nap.

Sweet dreams.

What are all these green things doing on my counter,

It sure was nice for Papa and GG to put heat in the bathroom floor.....Just for me!

My Beach!
